Why have Intel Gurus on Dinarguru.com?

I'm asked this all the time...

(I also get the reverse, Why have Newshound Gurus?)

The answer is simple...

Especially with everything that's happening in Iraq and here in the
U.S.

Unless you've been under a rock these past few days, then you know
about Brian "I miss-remembered" Williams.

He's one of the most trusted (or should we say, WAS one of the most
trusted) people in mainstream news.

He was busted for inaccurate reporting of real news.

Coincidentally enough one of his reports creating the most
controversy happened in Iraq.

The short story as I understand it, is in the early days of the war,
Brian Williams was flying in a helicopter convoy of some sort.

Things got totally CRAZY and the chopper in front of his was shot!

It had to make an emergency landing...

He landed safely too and reported the story like this on the news.

BUT...

When reporting on this story years later Brian said it was
HIS chopper that was hit by enemy fire, not the one in front of his.

Oops...that's a very different story!  

When confronted about the story he says he mis-remembered the
details.

I feel so bad for the guy...how embarrassing.

His career may never be the same.

Here's why this is important to us dinarians.

Intel Gurus vs. Newshound Gurus.

Some like one or the other.

Some swear by one over the other very passionately!

BUT...

We need EVERY source we can get in this speculative investment.

We need checks and balances.

Things are happening at a fast and furious pace now...You see it in
the dinarguru.com guru updates today with Abadi's
speech and the budget etc...

The pace is quickening.

News articles are flowing and Intel is coming out like never before.

There's going to be misrepresentation and "mis-rememberings" from
all sides.

So...

The more perspectives you see...the more accurate of a BIG picture
that is painted.

It's soooo important as things heat up that we remain focused on the
BIG picture and not get seduced into weighing only one side.

or one perspective.

or one belief.

or one interpretation.

Too much is at stake for any kind of Ostrich Head In The Sand
thinking.

If you're in the Camp of "Intel Gurus are useless"...remember Brian
Williams' saga to bring you back into reality.

Same goes if your thinking drifts toward "Newshound Guru are silly
for believing the news"!

We need both.  

As the latest guru updates come in...We're always looking for
consensus.

Hopefully soon we will get it! :)
