They say specifics about what is happing right now... progress,

delays and challenges...

 

What is shows me is the articles the Newshound gurus use as a guide

as A WHOLE give a good indication of what's really happening...

Good things reported:

 

--the UN speaker Kobler CONGRATULATES Iraq for huge progress with

Kuwait!

--Kobler refers to Iraq as "Fully Sovereign and Independent state"

several times

--Kobler says the Arab Summit was a big step in the the right

direction.

 

Challenges Holding up Progress:

 

--Kpbler reports Iraq is at a political impasse (duh)

--National Conference was suggested but has NOT happened

--Kobler say regrettably, the kurds are really upset about their

boundary dispute with Iraq.

 

The Iraqi representative made it a point to say...(something along

these lines)

 

'Iraqis may shout at one another but they do not shoot at each

other to settle differences'

 

That's great!  But its horrible when a shouting match becomes so

loud you have to ease everyones mind that a fight is not about to

break out....

 

I think this reveals Iraq can see we the UN is concerned about what

is going on over there.

 

As a whole the report showed progress...and the biggest block right

now is the infighting.

 

overall I'd say it was upbeat...(not glowing like I would have liked)
