BESTest article I've EVER read!!! (so far anyway :)
I was floored when I read it early this morning...
I didn't want to say ANYTHING until a guru or two chimed in...
I waited and waited...
cricket cricket cricket...nothing.
Maybe I was wrong...maybe it was't all that important??? :(
Then Guru Med talks about the SAME article!!

He feels the same as me (well maybe not as much but I'm easily
excitable!)
The article is long...its from an interview with the CBI guy (not Shabibi).
You know Iraq is in political turmoil right now...
So it appears the CBI came out to explain why the dinar value has
dropped the past few days and why money appears to be leaving the
country...
Sort of a "everybody calm down" article I think.
The CBI states several times they have "sucked" in over a Trillion
Dinar from the local market this week alone.
HUGE amounts of dinar off the streets.
Now here's the thing...
I don't know if guru med is seeing this through his handy dandy
Dinar Goggles or not but he feels like they could be
preparing for a change...
a rate change.
You know, suck in as many dinar as possible before the change??
I don't know but it sounds plausible.

12-21-2011 Guru Med THEY [Iraq] HAVE PULLED 1 TRILLION DINAR OFF
THE STREETS IN THE LAST WEEK ALONE THAT IS HUGE...THEY ARE SUCKING
IN DINAR YES THE LESS ON THE STREET...THE BETTER THE VALUE...NOW I
KNOW THAT EVERYONE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE PARLIAMENT HAVING APPROVED
THIS [dropping zeros] BUT WE HAVE ALLOT MORE PROBLEMS THAN THE FACT
THEY HAVENT...THIS IS THE WORST POLITICAL CRISIS IN IRAQ IN 9 YRS
IT HONESTLY COULD SPLIT THE COUNTRY MALIKI THREATENED THE KURDS
WHICH IS NOT GOOD...THIS WEEK WILL BE VERY INTERESTING THIS IS THE
RISK PART OF THE INVESTMENT RIGHT HERE...
12-21-2011 Guru TonyTNT I was a tax auditor for the state of CA
before. We looked up the new tax form. On Dec 31st they want to
know how much Dinar you have in your possession. Why? This is for
2011. You have to list how much foreign currency you have in 2011.
This has NEVER been on a tax form before...if it RVs before Dec.
31st, if you have it in your possesion and they are going to tax
it, so if you are giving it away - do it now or people will be
taxed twice on the 15% flat tax...I saw the form is out today...
there is a 10K fine for EVERY MONTH THAT YOU DO NOT CORRECTLY TELL
THEM HOW MUCH FOREIGN CURRENCY YOU HAVE, 10 thousand dollars!!!!!
EVERY MONTH...and 40% interest you will pay for not reporting it!!
They have thought of everything. PAY YOUR TAXES ASAP.
12-21-2011 Guru Adam Montana Lots of turmoil...we're going to
see it get even crazier before they roll out the red carpet but
it's something that simply has to happen, at this time, Iraq is
still perfectly stable and I don't see anything to worry about so,
in my opinion - the crazier the better! Because the sooner they get
their affairs in order, the better and we all know the "status quo"
of the last few years didn't spark the RV so I am excited to see
some major news call it smoke, call it necessary, call it whatever
you want - the bottom line is things are moving and I am happy with
that.
12-21-2011 Guru Doc The majority of news still highlights our
key triggers such as chapter 7 and HCl/currency which we see a
favorable. Our main concern is the shutdown of Parliament till
early January. While we do maintain backroom negotiations are
continuing an official vote is what is desired. We continue to
believe the RV is contingent on the lifting of chapter 7 from the
perspective it is being used as leverage. As of today chapter 7 has
NOT been lifted despite the super secret intel being touted. When
you see it posted on the UN web site believe it. Because of the
above, the probability of the RV occurring in the near term is
extremely low and we do not expect movement until later in January
at the earliest. We sincerely hope we are wrong but as usually we
report and you decide.
12-21-2011 Guru TonyTNT ALL OF TH E CONTRACTORS who have
contracts with Iraq were told this morning to GO TO IRAQ.
Contracts are being activated now. Go NOW. No one is going to
spend 10 years be rescue the global economy and let it fall apart.
They found half a trillion Euros in Europe today and it saved the
whole Europeon economy. Amazing, where did they find it. Do you
think everything we have seen in the last 2 weeks, troops move out,
do you think the world would let Maliki ruin everything for the
whole world!!!! How can you undo all the money, contracts and
worldwide things that have happened this week. You can't. I
personally think it will happen before Friday.
12-21-2011 Guru Checkmate The news is so out there this week. No
wonder people are upset. We are all hearing there may be a deadline
on the 23rd. My opinion was things wouldn't happen at christmas
but things are speeding up and their is an urgency today.
12-21-2011 Guru Adam Montana the fiscal year begins Jan 1.
Since we don't expect to see a resolution to ALL of this by then,
we're looking at LEAST 2 weeks out. I know the other sites are
going to slam me for that, but I'm not here to yell "RV TOMORROW"
when I know it's not going to happen. I hope I'm wrong about my
timeline.
12-21-2011 Guru Enorrste It seems that the RV will come in
gradually, starting at 1 to 1 with the dollar, then moving up from
there, although I have no idea how long it will take to get to
$3.50. They announced the issuance of a "new" 50 dinar note that
will be introduced in the very near future. It will be worth
50,000 dinars at the current rate ($43) and will help to tide over
the problems of removing the final 25000 dinar notes. The new note
will be different than the current 50 dinar note, which is
essentially worthless anyway. Then, as the remaining 25000 notes
are removed other smaller denoms of the new currency will be
issued, including coins. This could happen at any time, but most
likely beginning in 2012 as stated in articles. Then a "float"
would be allowed to let the new currency find equilibrium, most
likely above $3.50, but the timing is up in the air (at least for
me).

SANCTIONS ARE GOOD MEASURES TO A ASSURE PEACE AND SOVEREIGNTY
WITHIN A NATION. SANCTIONS WILL NOT STOP THE RV AND HAS NOTHING TO
DO NOW WITH CH 7. THESE ARE GOOD SANCTIONS TO KEEP MILITARY ARMS
AND 'FUNDS' OUT OF THE HANDS OF DE-STABILIZING GROUPS THAT WOULD
CREATE PROBLEMS WITHIN ANY SOVEREIGN NATION. THE SANCTIONS NOW
PLACED ON IRAQ ARE JUST GOOD COMMON SENSE SANCTIONS AND DO PROTECT
ANY SOVERIGN NATION. SANCTIONS PROTECT THE BUS AND OCCUPANTS. THESE
ARE PROTECTIVE MEASURES. NUFF SAID"
12-21-2011 Guru Adam Montana I want to let you all know that I
don't think anything is happening before the end of the year,
simple reason: The WORLD banking systems need to all be on board
and ready to cooperate with a major change in the Iraqi Dinar and
with Christmas, NYE, the withdrawal of the troops, the political
MESS going on in Iraq right now - I just don't see it happening
immediately. HOWEVER, don't despair! I'm not throwing the towel in
by any means, in fact -Everything we're seeing right now is
indicative of a major change coming soon, and I absolutely love it!
12-21-2011 Guru BGG Looks like it will be a little while...there
is some political unrest that will take us into early/mid Jan. - I
do think it will get handled - but I highly doubt today or
tomorrow. It was plainly ready to go off - we should have seen it
prior to Maliki showing up here in the US (latest) - however, he
just had to stir up some last-minute drama (before he left). Looks
like we're into January to me, JMHO.
12-21-2011 Newshound Guru Joey if you were going to RV your
currency what you would need to do that...Wouldn't you want all of
your banks and ATMS working so that our country could open up all
at the same time...I think Shabs has been waiting for this to be
completed...this actually unites all of the banks and would be KEY
ESSENTIAL TO THIS RV...If you are looking at what needs to be
done...this is the most important thing - this project started 3
years ago and will be completed by the end of this
month...SUCCESSFULLY tested last week...this is about to make an
international corridor throughout the Middle East and will tie all
of those countries together.
12-21-2011 Guru Jonnywg I...received a call from a big 4 bank
that the screens are still at 00.0000 but there was no update
performed, the major currency update is at 3pm cst...I will call
back... info is scarce today...we expect something to happen before
Christmas one way or the other...There is no truth to the rumor
that I have posted high rates last night...I still feel we are
lucky if we get in the $3 range.

12-21-2011 Guru Freeway Bill everything is moving forward - the
UST, they have been cocked and ready to monitor this whole process
and their system people have been on site and on call for several
days now...a TEXT came in that the UST people that have been held
to watch the system go through are to be done and released by 8am
eastern time Standard time...AM Wed the 21st - this looks really
good.
