Dinar Guru Updates:  Morning - June 13, 2024

6-13-2024   Intel Guru Frank26   [Iraq boots-on-the-ground report]   FIREFLY:  Sudani came out and again he says to us the dinar is stronger than the dollar.  FRANK:  Your contracts are being rewritten because your dinar is strong now.  FIREFLY:  Then he said that Iraqi people will see a significant increase in the exchange rate this year.  He's saying all this in a recorded speech.  He's talking about the economy and how we're growing and what is expected.  FRANK:  Like I told you, the monetary reform education would get louder and louder into this month.  It looks like they're using a megaphone to scream it to you.  These are exciting time for your monetary reform, for your country, for the value of your currency.

6-13-2024   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat   ...traders can’t trade the Iraqi dinar since OFAC sanctions are still on the currency and have not yet been lifted. It would be illegal and very risky to put any of the dinar in investment portfolios at this time... there is no back screen trading platform, so even if they did want to trade the dinar how would investors do it?

6-12-2024   Intel Guru Frank26  It's no secret that they're raising the value of their currency.  It's no secret they're going to  float their currency to reach a real effective exchange rate.  It's no secret a new category of lower notes are coming out.  It's  no secrete the monetary reform has been successful and everyone is pouring into this country because of that and therefor the  economic reform is about to explode.

6-12-2024   Newshound Guru Kaperoni  There is no RV.  Iraq could never afford any significant increase in the dinar. And delete three zeros is a neutral event. No gain on the currency value. We hope this does not occur.  The only way the dinar will ever go up  in value is a float based on the economic success and growth of their own economy.   

6-12-2024   Newshound Guru Jeff  The central bank announced their 3rd strategic plan...They'll be increasing gold reserves...they also said they're going to offer new issues of high quality currency and reduce the deficit...

6-12-2024   Guru Nader From The Mid East  Last week...I said Iraq government start a new white paper, it's all about the currency.  From here to the 8th of July we should have an answer.  What they going to do - Are they going to change the exchange rate or not?  That's what I said exactly.  They're working on it.  I know they created a white paper on that.   The CBI... government of Iraq, the reserve and the IMF are all working on the same page on those white papers.  I don't know if it's going to change or not...

6-12-2024   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]   “After returning it for the purpose of auditing –The Iraqi Gazette addressed parliament to send budget tables”  So they are expected to release it to the papers this week …There are a lot of people who believe we will see a rate when they do that. I do have a couple contacts in Iraq that believe we will see it then…They expect it to be published Saturday in the Gazette…I hope they are accurate.

6-12-2024   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat  If you step outside of Iraq, when they finally do reinstate the dinar, the exchange of the three zero notes...will exchange to whatever the currency exchanges i.e. FOREX rate is at the time.

6-12-2024   Newshound Guru Kaperoni   Monetary policy in any country is never a random act or arbitrary decision. It's the result of progress. Until Iraq passes the needed legislation to encourage investment, the dinar will continue to remain weak.
